Last reviewed September 2026. K-12 School Staff Desk is a static set of guides. There is no account system, no sign-in, no comment section, and no contact, newsletter, or lead form anywhere on the site.
What you never submit
You read every guide without entering anything. The site never asks for your name, school or district, employee ID, license number, IEP or student details, salary, or retirement-account information. Nothing you might type into a search engine to reach this site is received or stored here.
What the host records
- Standard server logs. The hosting provider keeps ordinary request data — IP address, timestamp, page requested, and browser type — for security and for rough traffic totals. It is not linked to an identity and is not used for advertising or profiling.
- Cookie-free traffic counting, if enabled. Any page-view measurement runs without cookies and performs no cross-site tracking.
What is not done
- No advertising runs on the site at this time, and no advertising or retargeting cookies are set.
- No mailing list, and no marketing contact of any kind.
- No sale, rental, or sharing of visitor data.
Outbound links
Guides link to sources such as the U.S. Department of Education, the Office for Civil Rights, state education agencies, state teacher retirement systems, and the IRS. Those websites set their own cookies and publish their own privacy policies, which this site does not control.
